Complementary animal feed for chickens and birds via drinking water.
Avimite is a natural complementary feed based on herbal extracts. When added to drinking water, the herbal extracts are absorbed into the birds' bloodstream.
How to administer Avimite
Always use 1 ml or 20 drops of Avimite per liter of water. An average laying hen drinks about 250 ml of water per day, while a parakeet only drinks around 3 ml.
One 70 ml bottle is enough to treat up to 15 chickens for an entire year.
Add 20 drops of Avimite per liter of fresh water and follow the instructions provided with the product.
Avimite treatment method
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Add Avimite to the drinking water daily for the first 7 days. Refresh the water every day and add new Avimite drops. This is important because ethanol, the carrier of Avimite, evaporates easily.
- Then, continue using Avimite once per week for 5 weeks.
- For the remainder of the year, administer a maintenance dose once or twice per month.
Disadvantages of Avimite
Avimite has no known disadvantages, except that it takes at least 7 days to be fully absorbed by the animal’s body. Red mites can survive for a long time without feeding but remain present in the coop. Therefore, it is advisable to combine this product with predatory mites against red mites.
Avimite is a natural product. It contains no toxins and is safe for all animals. Eggs can be eaten without restrictions, and there is no waiting period for meat. The taste of eggs or meat is not affected.
Shelf life: The date printed on the Avimite packaging is the "best before" date.
Store the bottle closed in a dark place. Do not leave the bottle open during use, as it contains ethanol that evaporates.
